Hand-made Ceramic Crackle Lidded Jar

This ceramic jar was created on the potter's wheel using sodium silicate to create the crackled appearance. The jar was treated with red iron oxide on the exterior and was finished with a blue-green glaze on the top and interior, offering a lovely color contrast.
